All our treatment sessions are 45 minutes (average) in duration.
You will undergo a thorough assessment on your first visit,
It includes demographic data acquisition (Name, Age, Address, etc), and your chief complaint will be recorded. Then a series of questions will be asked to know the mechanism of injury, medical status, previous treatments, your perspective about your problem, and your expectations from treatment. This process will guide us to the physical examination.
It starts with observation of movements followed by provocative tests to find out the cause of your condition. Pre-treatment status of objective findings (Range of motion, Muscle strength, Balance, etc) is noted so that progress after the treatment can be measured accurately.
This process helps in ruling out the serious pathologies, and make sure that the Physiotherapy is the correct treatment for your condition.
After physical examination, medical scans (X-Ray, MRI, etc) and diagnostics are evaluated to make a correct diagnosis for your condition.
It starts with an explanation of your condition and the various short-term and long-term goals of treatment being formulated. With your consent, an effective treatment process (based on your needs) begins, which includes a combination of manual therapy, exercises, taping, and therapeutic electrotherapy. At the completion, corrective home exercises and precautions are explained.
At every session, pre and post findings (pain, range of motion, etc) are recorded to evaluate the efficacy of treatment. Further interventions will be added, if needed.
